            Useful Information:

  1. Accident: In case of any accident you will have to do the following: a) Inform your safe way office about the incident (tel. +30 210 57 86 064). b) Call an expert of the insurance company (tel. +30 90 99 999) in order to write down the incident details and to take photos of the vehicle. c) In case of any accident where any injury occurs, police needs to be informed.

  1. Parking: At the center of Athens there are parking meters which need a special ticket that can be bought at kiosks and which are valid for a limited period of time depending on their price.

  1. Belts: Seat belts are mandatory for all persons present in the car. Children less than 10 years old sit at the back seats.

  1. Road Assistance: 24 hours all over Greece, when the car does not work call the four-digit number 1154 and indicate the exact location. You will be asked to mention the registration number of the car.

  1. Traffic fines: Paid by the renter at the post office, tax office or at the police station if indicated at the fine receipt.

  1. Speed limit: 50 k/m in the city, 80 k/m on highways and on motorways 100-120 k/m. You must always respect the mentioned speed along the road you are driving on.
  2. Gasoline: Paid by the renter, the vehicle is normally delivered full of fuel and must be returned full, use only unleaded.
