1. Age Requirement: For car groups A, B, B1, C, D, D1 minimum age 21 years. For car groups E, F, M1, M2 minimum age 23 years.
*Maximum age 75 years.
2. Driving License: Must be issued at least 1 year prior to rental. An international driving licence is required for all rentals unless renter is a citizen of a European community country
3. Minimum rental: One day (24 hours). One day (24 hours). After 120 minutes of completing the 24 hours rental, the renter will be charged one extra day.
4. Pick up the car: At the start of the rental the renter must carry with him:
5. Deposit & Guarantee: The total rental cost prepayment, necessary the credit card that will used for the amount of guarantee.
6. Third Party Liability Insurance: Covered the renter:
a) Death or injury,including passengers up to 750.000€ (except the driver of the Safe Way).
b) Material damages to third parties up to 100.00€ (except the car of the Safe Way).
7. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): The renter's liability for damage to the rented vehicle, can reduced to the amount of:
a) 492,00€ for car groups A, B, B1, C if pay for each rental day 12,00€
b) 615,00€ for car groups D, D1, E, F if pay for each rental day 14,00€
c) 738,00€ for car groups M1, M2 if pay for each rental day 16,00€
8. Theft Protection (TP): The renter’s responsibility in case of total theft or partial theft can be reduced to the amount:
a) 492,00€ for car groups A, B, B1, C
b) 615,00€ for car groups D, D1, E, F
c) 738,00€ for car groups M1, M2. If the renter pay for each rental day the amount of: 6,00€ for car groups A, B, B1, C, 9,00€ for car groups D, D1, E, F and 12,00€ for car groups M1,M2. This excludes any thefts of personal effects.
9. Full Damage Waiver Insurance (FDW): The renter is fully covered the excess amounts of Collision Damage (CDW) and theft Protection (TP) insurance, if accept to pay for each rental day 6,00 € for all car categories (max charge 20 days) Exceptions: charges for any of the damages written below will be charged directly to the client, the most important are the following: the glass, mirrors, wheels, tires, underside of the car, spare key, damages to the roof)
10. Personal Accident Insurance (PAI): Daily charge 3,00€ for all car groups max charge 10 days: Covers the driver and the passengers of the vehicle up to the amount of 20.000€ in case disability or death.
11. Additional Driver: Daily charge 1,50€, max charge 10 days.
12. Gasoline: Paid by the renter, used only Unleaded Petrol.
13. Baby Seat: Daily charge 3,00 €, max charge 5 days.
14. Snow Chain: Daily charge 1,50€, max charge 10 days.
15. Collection / Delivery: The delivery or collection from and to:
Athens International Airport El. Venizelos (free of charge)
Delivery & Pick up at hotel: charge 15,00€ each way
Athens / Piraeus Port: charge 15,00€ each way
16. Delivery/Collection out of hours: 21:00-08:00 to 24,00€ each way
17. Navigator System GPS: Daily charge 6,00€ max charge 5 days.
18. Ferrying the car: Only with the prior written authorization of the Safe Way.
19. Across the border rentals: Cross border rentals are allowed only within the European Union, only with the prior written agreement of Safe Way.
20. Extension of renting: It is allowed according to availability.
21. Cars Models: The reservations are made only by car groups and not by car model.
22. Road Assistance: 24 hours (free of charge) at all Greece (Express Service Tel. 1154)
23. Traffic Fines: All traffic fines and administrative sanctions for violations during the rental, paid by the renter.
24. VAT & TAXES: All rates and extra charges include VAT & Taxes.
